A brand-new reprint of Conon Fraser's classic adventure novel, set in the 1950s.
Dead Man's Cave was originally written for a teenage audience, but as with all great young people's books, it's a winner with all ages.
Peaksoft have lovingly recreated this epic adventure, long unavailable even on the second-hand market - surviving copies of the original are well-guarded.
Produced with Conon Fraser's enthusiastic support, the new edition has the full original text and illustrations, for which permission was granted by the family of the late Will Nickless (of Eagle fame).
There is a new foreword by Conon Fraser, as well as the tale of the 20-year process that led to the 21st Century re-issue of Dead Man's Cave.
Four teenage boys, inspired by a message from a French Commando, search for a lost cave in the Pyrennes.

from the BBC -A Nottinghamshire man is presenting a library with a new edition of a book he borrowed 47 years ago and loved too much to return.
Harry Whitehouse, 58, of Balderton, borrowed Dead Man's Cave by Conon Fraser from Mansfield Library in 1961.
He told his parents and the library he had lost it, but now he has had it reprinted for his daughter.
The book, set in the 1950s, tells the story of four teenage boys and their caving adventure.
As a schoolboy, Mr Whitehouse tried, unsuccessfully, to copy the whole manuscript on to his school jotter.
`Bookish boy'
Later, he searched second hand bookshops after promising his daughter, Louise, 30, he would get her a copy when she was still at school.
Subsequently, he found the book went out of print in the 1950s and so decided to pay for a commercial printer to produce copies again.
He signed a publisher contract with the book's author Conon Fraser, 77, who now lives in New Zealand.
It means Mr Whitehead has the right to the assembled work with the cover, text and illustrations.
The novel is now under the imprint of his company Peaksoft.
Mr Whitehouse admitted that, as a "bookish" 11-year-old he was determined not to give the book back.
Even now, he still has that copy, although he said it was "fragile" having been passed between so many family members.
"It had the feel of authenticity even then and because of this book I became a very keen caver myself," he said.
"It's a wonderful period piece, it's set in the 1950s. The idea that four teenaged boys could have this adventure is a completely different outlook on life."
